TRP is a healthcare-focused private investment firm based in San Antonio, Texas, founded in 2020 by Jordan Fowler, Ben Brunton and Eric King.
TRP is raising capital for investments in healthcare operating companies such as surgical hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers, and healthcare real estate investments. In each instance, these investments are made in partnership with local physician providers in order to create alignment on a market-by-market basis. While we seek investments that allow us to have control of the companies in which we participate, we always allow our physician partners to maintain an active role in their future.
Our operations investments will be through Physicians Surgical Network Affiliates (PSN), which is a market-disrupting healthcare provider currently operating in Texas and now expanding into Florida.
We believe that many market factors are at force to create new partnership and alignment opportunities, including changes in the Florida market due to changes in the Certificate of Need laws. Physicians will finally be presented with a chance to break from the status quo of either going it alone or giving up all autonomy and signing up with a large health system.
Our strategy highlights medium to long-term investment horizons, based upon the type of investment and potential exit opportunities, which will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
